1、Product introduction

OPT315 is a two-component condensation type silicone sealing material, which can be cured at room temperature, releasing ethanol molecules during the curing process, and will not corrode PC (Poly-carbonate), PP, ABS, PVC, copper wire and other materials. Good adhesion to most electronic parts materials (except PP, PE).

2、Typical use

-Potting and sealing of indoor and outdoor LED displays.

3、Using process

-Before mixing, component A needs to be properly stirred by hand or machinery, and component B should be used after shaking the container thoroughly in a sealed state.

-When it is necessary to adhere to the application material, please confirm whether it can be adhered before use and then apply.

-When mixing, the general weight ratio is A:B = 10:1. If it is necessary to change the ratio, perform a simple test after changing the mixing ratio. Generally, the more the amount of component B, the shorter the curing time and the shorter the operation time.

-Generally speaking, the thickness of potting below 20mm can be naturally defoamed without separate defoaming. If the potting thickness is larger, pinholes or air bubbles may be generated on the surface and inside, therefore, the mixture should be put into a vacuum container and defoamed at least 5 minutes at 700mmHg.

-The higher the ambient temperature, the faster the curing and the shorter the operation time. Heating curing is generally not recommended to avoid pinholes or bubbles on the surface and inside, which may affect the aesthetics and sealing performance.

4、Caution

7、Storage and transportation

-Storage in cool and dry place, storage period is 9 months (under 25℃).

-These products are non-dangerous goods and can be transported as general chemicals.

-The A and B components of the colloid must be stored in a sealed place, so as to avoid leakage during transportation!

-The product should be used only after the storage period is exceeded to make sure there is no abnormality.
